Weekly Meetings:
Math Club meets every Friday at lunch in Room 303/305. During these meetings, we mostly give lectures about either competition math or an interesting topic in math, but will sometimes do other activities such as playing math games, doing math puzzles, or giving math homework help.
Competitions:
Math Club also participates in many math competitions. Some of these, such as Log1 and Math Madness, are very accessible and don’t require lots of knowledge of competition style math, while others, like the Caltech Harvey Mudd Math Competition, are more advanced.
Math Club hosts the AMC competition series in the spring. Our lectures about competition math will mainly be in preparation for these contests.
Volunteering:
A group of UHS Math Club students volunteer to teach the Rancho San Joaquin Mathcounts team! Email [email protected] for more information!
